Shooting Competition 2011

In the recently concluded Shooting Competition which was held over 18th and 22nd November, 3 of our shooting teams represented our unit. This competition consisted of Zeroing and Grouping practices for the Part As, and also snap targets for our Part B and C cadets.

Part A Category
Our Part A team has done us proud by emerging 1st in the Part A IMT Group Category! They are:

LCP Lee Xin

In addition, 1 of our Part A cadets managed to clinch 2nd in the Individual Category. Congratulations to:

Part B Category
5 Part B cadets have also represented our unit and participated in this competition as well. Although they did not manage to win any prizes, they have done their best and put in their utmost effort. They are:

Part C Category 
Finally, 5 of our Part C cadets have also represented us in the Part C Live Range Category. This category required our participants to shoot Live Range targets from a 100m distance, with and without support. It was a tough competition and our Part C team ultimately done us proud by emerging 5th in the Group Category! They are:

On top of that, 1 of our Part Cs have managed to get a spot in the finals and subsequently making us proud by clinching the bronze medal. Congratulations to:

Challenge Quest 2011

On the 27th October, our Challenge Quest Team comprising of 3 Part Cs, 1 Part B and 1 Part A has participated in the annually held Challenge Quest Competition. This competition required the participants to complete as many sit-ups, push-ups and team skips in one minute. Also, they were required to do a 1km run and complete the Motivational Obstacle Course at HQ NCC.

However, due to inclement weather, they were not able to complete the 1km run and MOC category. Nevertheless, although we have not clinched any awards, the participants have tried their best and put in commendable effort into training and the competition itself. They are:

Orienteering Competition 2011

On the 19th October, 5 of our Part B cadets took part in the annually held Orienteering Competition organised by HQ NCC, and have done us proud by coming in 3rd in the Girls' Category. They are:

East/Air Senior Specialist Course 2011

From 3 to 5 September, 5 of our specialists attended the Senior Specialist Course, a prestigious course organised by HQ NCC for the S5 of every unit. They have all successfully passed out and have been promoted to the Staff Sergeant rank, as well as being awarded a lanyard. They are:

In the recent Part A Battlefield Trail held on 18 July 2011, our Part As did the unit proud by achieving great results.

They were involved in the Amazing Race, which involved answering questions on World War II. After the tough race, we are pleased that they have clinched BOTH the 2ND and 3RD awards! (:
