Air Competition 2012

The Air Competition 2012 organised by HQ NCC was held on 14 September, Friday. 7 aeromodellers from our school took part in this competition and represented the unit in three categories:

Part A Simulator Spot Landing:
PTE Dong Yuhui
PTE Tan Yu Qian, Celesse
PTE Bethany Leong Yin Xuan

Part B Spot Landing:
LCP Wan Hazimah Binte Mohammad Salemi
LCP Zhang Linwan

Part C Limbo Flying:
SSG Jerlynn Goh
SSG Tan Fong Han

Even though they were unable to bring back a prize this time round, we are immensely proud of the amount of effort they put into training for the competition. The Part As were ranked 6th overall in their category and this was extremely promising result as well.

We look forward to building up our aeromodelling team for the future years to come :)

Senior Specialists' Course 2012

In the recently concluded Senior Specialists' Course (West and Air District), conducted from 3rd to 5th September, 5 of our Part C specialists did the unit proud by passing out with the rank of staff sergeant and are awarded each with a lanyard. The 5 part C specialists are:

SSG Tan Fong Han
SSG Jerlynn Goh
SSG Nicole Pua
SSG Crisann Moh
SSG Abelline Chua

In addition, one of them managed to clinch an award on behalf of the Unit, she is:

SSG Tan Fong Han - Platoon Best

We would like to congratulate the (now) senior specialists for their effort in the course and wish them all the best in working together with the new batch of cadet leaders to bring the unit to greater heights.
