Air Competition Finals

The finals of the Air Competition 2009 was held yesterday, 4th September, at HQ NCC.

Well done to the Part As, for coming up with interesting and creative plane designs. Although they did not manage to win anything, the judges were probably impressed all the same. The Part As are:
PTE Chew Zhi Wei
PTE Jallene Chua
PTE Neo Xiao Yun
PTE Phyllis Phuah
PTE Quek Rui Tong
PTE Wong Shi Ying

Good job too, to the Part Bs, LCP Vivian Chew and LCP Christina Chin, for all their hard work and preparation before the competition, although they were unable to fly during the actual competition due to motor problems.

The Part D team, 1SG Trina Ling and SSG Celeste Wee, also took part in the Radio Control Simulator category.

A big thank you to all the supporters for being a source of support and encouragement to the competitors, as well as the teachers, Mrs Lim and Mr Chia, who accompanied the cadets down on the heats and finals respectively.

Air Specialist Course 2009 (Phase 1)

Okay, with this blog having been dead for such a long time, I am proud to revive it with very very exciting news!

In the Air Specialist Course 2009 (Phase 1), which 11 of our part Cs attended, 10 of them achieved the rank of 2nd SGT, which as SSG Celeste would put it, is 90.9%(3sf)!

On top of that, three of our Part Cs also obtained various awards, allowing us to have, as Debbie once put it, "OWNED the course" by being the school to have obtained the most number of awards. A very hearty congratulations to the following part Cs:

OVERALL COURSE BEST:
2SG Shen Yu Ting Tina

COMPANY BEST:
2SG Zhang Jingwen

GENERAL SPECIALISTS KNOWLEDGE BEST:
