Air Competition 2012

The Air Competition 2012 organised by HQ NCC was held on 14 September, Friday. 7 aeromodellers from our school took part in this competition and represented the unit in three categories:

Part A Simulator Spot Landing:
PTE Dong Yuhui
PTE Tan Yu Qian, Celesse
PTE Bethany Leong Yin Xuan

Part B Spot Landing:
LCP Wan Hazimah Binte Mohammad Salemi
LCP Zhang Linwan

Part C Limbo Flying:
SSG Jerlynn Goh
SSG Tan Fong Han

Even though they were unable to bring back a prize this time round, we are immensely proud of the amount of effort they put into training for the competition. The Part As were ranked 6th overall in their category and this was extremely promising result as well.

We look forward to building up our aeromodelling team for the future years to come :)

Senior Specialists' Course 2012

In the recently concluded Senior Specialists' Course (West and Air District), conducted from 3rd to 5th September, 5 of our Part C specialists did the unit proud by passing out with the rank of staff sergeant and are awarded each with a lanyard. The 5 part C specialists are:

SSG Jerlynn Goh
SSG Nicole Pua
SSG Crisann Moh
SSG Abelline Chua

In addition, one of them managed to clinch an award on behalf of the Unit, she is:

SSG Tan Fong Han - Platoon Best

We would like to congratulate the (now) senior specialists for their effort in the course and wish them all the best in working together with the new batch of cadet leaders to bring the unit to greater heights.

Air Specialists' Course (Phase 1) 2012

In the recent Specialists' Course 2012 held on the 18-20th June, 11 Part Cs attended this course. After 3 days of the course, we are proud to announce that all 11 Part Cs who has attended the course passed out successfully with the 2SG rank, which makes the percentage of 2SG ranks attained 100%!

7th Advanced Drill Course 2012

From 13th March - 16th March, MSG Jallene Chua attended the 7th Advanced Drill Course, a prestigious course held by HQ NCC.

We are proud to announce that she has successfully passed out as a Supernumerary, and on top of that, has done us proud by earning the Alpha Company Best Award.

Shooting Competition 2011

In the recently concluded Shooting Competition which was held over 18th and 22nd November, 3 of our shooting teams represented our unit. This competition consisted of Zeroing and Grouping practices for the Part As, and also snap targets for our Part B and C cadets.

Part A Category
Our Part A team has done us proud by emerging 1st in the Part A IMT Group Category! They are:

In addition, 1 of our Part A cadets managed to clinch 2nd in the Individual Category. Congratulations to:

Part B Category
5 Part B cadets have also represented our unit and participated in this competition as well. Although they did not manage to win any prizes, they have done their best and put in their utmost effort. They are:

Part C Category 
Finally, 5 of our Part C cadets have also represented us in the Part C Live Range Category. This category required our participants to shoot Live Range targets from a 100m distance, with and without support. It was a tough competition and our Part C team ultimately done us proud by emerging 5th in the Group Category! They are:

On top of that, 1 of our Part Cs have managed to get a spot in the finals and subsequently making us proud by clinching the bronze medal. Congratulations to:
