HELLO :)
yep this post is about the (not-so) exciting times we had during silver wing! meant for part as and the part bs who din go :) under the request of clt debbie!
okay. well first day we went, and we had many lectures. they were quite boring hahaha. but only some, cos some really is interesting and caught all of our attention. well, almost all. but still :D yup we learnt lots of stuff, like HISTORY OF AIR DEFENCE, types of lights on a plane, danger areas like how a plane cant fly over a shooting range incase a m16 fires off and disaster! oh a m16 can shoot 500-1000ft in the air! cool :D
on the second day, the lectures were oso boring and that day was the longest so in the morning, we had this lecture (duh) and i was looking forward to lunch :D heh that aside first. the lecturers were all officers, so it was quite an honour. yep. they were patient and nice. except one or two la who didnt give us enough time to copy stuff ahhaa :) they gave thick stacks of notes (4 stacks!) and they were in pretty (read:very) bad condition and some ppl's notes had tonnes of stuff written in it. mathematical stuff. like how to calculate angles or something likethat. didnt understand :D anyway LUNCH! it was fried rice(not really nice ahhaa) with satay and chicken wing and pig bone soup. the soup was quite pepperish at the bottom lol. anyway, we're supposed to greet all officers and there were MANY MANY MANY MANY sitting around so we didnt know what to do! (translation: we didnt greet. ANDAND juniors if you read this DONT LEARN FROM US bad example:)
yep and we're supposed to march along the corridors. it was fun! except i kept hitting ppl beside me :P that was embarassing. yep then more lectures and more notes. then they had uniform inspection and they seperated the girls and guys and then the guys got more severe punishments (some sort) while we didnt get any :D
yup since everything was in the notes, we all went back and MEMORISED and STUDIED and MUGGED and PANICKED(however you spell that) and..
most of them didnt come out.
I KNOW!!! i mixed up my years (like which year happened what) ANDAND got the first question wrong. 30mcqs in 36minutes, many of us finished withing 15minutes. the others slept :D
humm. yea then they held us back for very long and we got dismissed :)
yup that's about it! dont think i left out anything :)
OHYES we watched some reallyreally funny clips! like how you should stay at home and play ps3 instead of gng to a restaurant where they took out their boogie and put on food, take the meat and wiped the toilet bowl and gargled the wine and spit it out on the foot. EW. and this nike advert; this gross bridgestone: designed to save lives advert and manymany more :D
okay the end:) hope u're all looking forward to it! you get to meet lots of nice ppl there:D (huiyi&miranda: hhaha you get what i mean) YUP byebye!
